The Year 2021 came to us with an enormous challenge – to survive against COVID-19. It has already been a year and we are still waiting for Vaccine!
From the above chat how many friends, family members we host! There has no time to wait to get ready to face all the future challenges which are in front of us! We should not think the future challenges would be smaller than COVID-19!
Food– The shortage of food, drinking water would be a big challenge for any country. We should effectively understand Chemistry to study the production of supplementary food which will not harm human, animals, or plants.
Faster and safe transport– Time is the most important ingredient in human life because we can’t rewind time in our life. We need faster, fully automated, and safe transport. To achieve this goal, we need to learn Mathematics and also coding- Computer programming.
An alternative place to live: Saving our planet from climate change is a discussion many world leaders are not willing to touch yet. As a result, we can extend the longevity of our planet, but we may not be able to save it. So, our job is to find out alternative places to live. This can be achieved with sound knowledge in Physics and Chemistry!
Human Science and controlling diseases – The most mysterious single object in our universe may perhaps be our human body. Today we are telling people not to eat the yolks of an egg, tomorrow we are telling people not to eat the egg whites. It is confusing! We have discovered many diseases in the world today, however, for some diseases, we failed to curate a proper vaccine. In 1984, officials declared that an HIV vaccine would be ready for testing in two years. However, more than 35 years later, there is no HIV vaccine. If we really want to protect life in this universe then we have to truly learn and apply Biology.
On in your own way: Daniel Ek, CEO and co-founder, Spotify. Ek’s first foray into the business world began at age 13 when he started a business making websites for clients from his home. He charged the first client $100, but then charged the next clients $200. Eventually, he started charging $5,000 per website. To help expand the business, Ek recruited students from his class to work on the websites from the school computer labs by bribing them with video games. His earnings eventually reached $50,000 per month and by age 18 he was managing a team of 25. Ek’s parents started to notice his earnings once he started bringing home large TVs. Who does not want to fit their own feet in Ek’s shoes? The only way you may make this dream a reality is if you can claim you are a smart coder. From then, you may not need to work for a boss; you will be your own boss. For example, Bill Gate claims, ‘ I couldn’t become an engineer but 1000 engineers are working under my supervision!’. To start your own IT business, you don’t have to borrow money from your parents or the bank. Just remember the world’s largest company; Google started in a Garage!
Mange Life in a Smart Way– How much money can I spend on gambling? Which airlines ticket should I buy for my holiday? Which share should I invest in? Which suburb should I consider investing in for my 2nd property? If I know all these answers correctly then I may claim that I am smart. With the assistance of Economics, I will be able to attain the answers to such smart questions.
COVID-19 changes the conditions of our life. One thing we learnt significantly is how to survive in this new world by optimising the usability of online services. For example, Zoom is a tool which can recreate a real-life classroom. Our schools, universities are already accepting this online adaptation. Kids are also feeling more comfortable to learn through online classes. Therefore, although Aussie Tutor is in the tutoring business over two years operating on a one-to-one mode it has recently decided to operate virtually with full strength from 15th January 2021!
